“Joining Rebel PT in Edinburgh has been a real life-changer for me. I love keeping fit and active, but sometimes my motivation levels drop.
Our Trainer, Alice, and the fellow Rebels really help motivate me to come to Bootcamp every week. They also push me to achieve more than I thought I could in the sessions.
I'd never tried a lot of the 'moves' and workouts before - side planks, burpees, squat jumps, push-ups, etc. - but I'm finding some absolute favourites in the mix.”

“The training has been really good and varied I’ve been going for a good few months now and it never seems to get repetitive, apart from the burpees, but all good trainers love giving you plenty of burpees! I’ve really enjoyed feeling healthy again; Tom helps not only on the physical but mental side of fitness. I also enjoy the extra activities that Tom organises like bike rides or walks or even the odd night out.
Rebel PT has been the best thing I have decided to join in a long time, there are not really any quick fixes to getting in shape just hard work and with Tom and the other guys/ girls in the group they make a hard class just that little bit more fun and make you want to push yourself harder in the next one.”
“I absolutely love the Prams in the Park class.
I can honestly say it was the best class I joined during my maternity leave and the one where I made the most friends. From my first ever trial class everyone was so welcoming. The trainers tailor each class to suit whatever part of the journey you are at so no need to worry if you haven't exercised much during pregnancy.
Classes are varied each week with lots of different elements including individual, partner and group work so you can work to your own maximum without the pressure of having to keep up with anyone else. Lynn is also super encouraging which really helps keep me motivated. It's the only class I have attended that supports my fitness and also my role as a Mummy. So glad I have found my tribe.”
“I would recommend Rebel PT to anyone, my biggest regret is not joining sooner. From the first class at Rebel PT I knew that it was a great fit for me. The classes combine working in groups, doing all body exercises, being outdoors and having fun at the same time. Tom always goes one step further with all his members, as he always takes time to answer any questions I have anything regarding fitness, nutrition and how best to reach my goals.”
“I joined in August and there hasn’t been two sessions the same, I’m amazed that you can come up with all the different combinations. I always feel that I have had a great workout. Not being the fittest or the youngest in the group is not a problem; you encourage us all to work as hard as we can without making us feel that we can’t have a break if required. You do a great job keeping us motivated.”
“Over one year in and still loving it! Yes, the first session was tough, aching muscles included, however within a couple of weeks of attending twice a week my fitness really improved and the muscle ache was non-existent! Tom’s bootcamp has a real team vibe about it, which I love, and newbies are always welcome. Great people, great banter, great workout to put it in a nutshell!”
“I joined Rebel earlier this year because my fitness had become basically non-existent during the pandemic (who am I kidding, I've always been like this!). I was quite apprehensive before I went along as although I knew I wanted to get in better shape, I thought I’d not be able to keep up and that I’d be slowing the group down but it isn’t like that at all!
Alice is so lovely and gets a gauge on your fitness pretty quickly. Every session is different and there is always a “lower intensity” option if it’s needed so the only person you’re working against is yourself.
If you had said to me a year ago that I’d be out in the dark and rain doing Bootcamp in the winter I'd never have believed it but it’s great fun and Alice’s encouragement is stellar! Doing some of the exercises in pairs or groups means you’re getting to chat to new folk every week too. I always leave the sessions feeling so pleased I've gone along.”

When I did the first trial class, I honestly thought I wouldn’t manage but I did and it made me all the more determined to try really hard the next time.
Starting in the winter for me probably was the best time as this is the toughest time, now we are coming into summer it is easier. The benefits for me are that I have lost weight and toned up as the classes are a whole body workout.”
