Rebels Go Ice Skating
When I think Rebels on Ice I think Blades of Glory! Whether you're a beginner or seasoned skater feel free to come along. It's a public session at Aberdeen Linx Ice Arena and should just be a bit of fun!

We're hitting up Scolty Hill for a time trail event. This is a great event if you like to push yourself as hard as you feel comfortable. We're meeting in the car park and going to do a gentle warm up jog up to the gate. Dalkeith Country Park 8km Walk
Checking out the country parks around Edinburgh we will be heading to Dalkeith to do the 8km walk at 11am on Sunday the 2nd of Feb. We will be meeting in the car park but if you need transport let us know and we can arrange some car sharing. Come and join us for a chilled walk followed by lunch or a snack at the cafe.

Meeting on Portobello Promenade we will be heading out to Aberlady for a wee coffee and fine piece and then cycling back. It's about a 40km round trip. It is a mix of promenade and road to cycle on. You may only join if you are wearing a helmet. Chilled pace and a few stops this should be enjoyable and could be good practice if you want to join the Edinburgh to Aberdeen cycle.

We have organised to run the Junior Park Run on Sunday the 9th of Feb. For those who haven't heard of it it's just like the Park Run but for children (4-14 year olds). It's a great way to get them into sports and fitness hopefully in a fun way for them! It starts at Duthie Park at 9.30am and is 2 laps of the park. Meeting at Aunt Bettys at 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start. We will be heading towards the harbour to go up the coastal path to Dunnottar. It is about 8km. You can chose whether you want to have a wee walk up to Dunnottar Castle or run up, there will be at least 1 trainer doing each. All friends, family and dogs are welcome to join! Get your bowling shoes on Rebels and join us at Codonas for a game! Please let us know if you plan on coming so we can book a lane. Strike off at 8pm but we need to be there 10 mins early to get our shoes sorted. 1 game of bowling is £5.80 + £1 for shoes or 2 games are £9.60 + £1 for shoes. We can start with one and see how we feel afterwards!

Every year the rebels get together for a ski holiday. We've been to Meribel, Tignes, St Anton and this year we are hitting up La Plagne. Staying in a catered chalet the week usually consist of ski, beer, ski, Apres, food, hot tub, repeat. Throw in some board games and a bit of fancy dress and there you have the Rebel ski holiday.
