FAQs

Do I need to be fit before coming to Rebel PT?

No, but you do need to be committed to achieving your fitness goals. Don’t worry if you lack motivation, that is why we are here, to keep you going! Whatever your current level of fitness, you will be made to feel welcome and put at ease.

Do I need to book classes in advance?

No, once you have been to your trial training session you can turn up to any of our sessions. These can be found on our ‘where we train’ (live link) page.

What should I wear and bring with me?

Comfortable clothing such as tracksuit bottoms, joggers or shorts with a t-shirt and all items you are happy to get wet or muddy. You should wear trainers or running shoes with socks. It is not advisable to wear brand new trainers, as the park can get muddy in bad weather! Because the weather can be temperamental, you may also like to bring waterproofs if you have them. We also recommend a dry sweater and towel for afterwards, particularly if it has been raining, and a carrier bag for your car seat on the way home!

Bring a water bottle and leave your valuables at home. All kit will be left together near to where we train. Please don’t bring a handbag.

What if it’s raining/snowing/ foggy/sub-zero temperatures outside?

We’ll be there braving whatever elements the British weather throws at us. Remember your layers and wrap up warm!

Can I book at any time?

Yes, just fill in our online booking form and turn up! Try to come to your first session about 10 minutes early though, to go through the health questionnaire.

Do I need to see a doctor before I sign up?

You should complete and sign our health questionnaire before you start your trial session. If in doubt or you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions, we recommend you speak to your GP before attending. Women who are pregnant should also consult their GP before attending RebelPT after the first trimester (12 weeks).

What is a Rebel PT training session like?

There is no ‘typical’ session, each session will be varied to stop both you and your body getting bored. Team Training works on all areas of fitness, from cardiovascular to muscle strength and endurance workouts. Our sessions may include running/jogging; team games; exercising in pairs; circuit training and bodyweight strength exercises. Each session will always start with a warm up followed by fitness training, before finishing off with a cool down and stretch, lasting 45 minutes in total.
